Our Company Bio:
Thank you for visiting our little home on the internet. If you made it here we know you are a smart shopper and are learning what you can about having improvements done to your home. Improving Long Island homes is what we do, all day, every day, in the cold of the winter and the heat of the summer. Our leadership started at the bottom like most other Long Islanders. Nick started as a helper and quickly turned into a full time exterior remodeler (he knows what it takes to get a house completed in a timely manner) Tony also grew up in the business, and has a lifetime of managing improvement projects
Nick, being a mechanic himself, knows how hard it is to find competent installers. His brother Jim, has been working alongside him his entire life and now leads the siding installation crew, his skills were learned through a lifetime of improving the insulation, resale value, protection and of course curb appeal of our homes.
Our window/door/awning crew is lead by Ray and Nicky (Nick's son) Ray has been a home builder for his entire adult life, he is trained and knowledgable in every area of home improvement, building, and remodeling. He has extensive knowledge in Windows, Doors, Siding, Framing, Finish carpentry, and flooring.Nicky has been around this field literally since he was 6. We actually have photos of him with a tool belt “helping” with his father on job sites. He was so into the building industry he used to build “forts” in his backyard when he was little that were 2 floors, with working doors and windows. He worked as an apprentice during and after high school installing windows, siding, finish trim, roofing, and awnings. Today he is a full time window and awning installer and is a VSI certified vinyl siding installer.
Our roofing crew is lead by David and Louie, they have extensive knowledge in residential as well as commercial roofing and it is all they do. They have been working with us for years and have an impressive record of being able to troubleshoot the most difficult leaks and replace them with trouble free roofing systems.
The rest of the staff excel in their fields, Paul is a window/door measurement specialist, Joe D is our internal roofing troubleshooter, Barbara is our sweet (great grandmother) book keeper/customer service specialist. She bakes all types of delicious goodies for us. Some of our favorites are her home made oatmeal raisin cookies, and desert concoctions of mixing odd things to make a delicious after lunch desert. Ron is also trained in every field of home improvements and does a lot of work with the smaller improvements that a lot of companies simply toss to the side. Joe (Nicks other son) is highly involved with the “behind the scenes” workings of the company, he helps in every aspect of the company, is the “I.T.” guy, and has a large role in scheduling, ordering, and the logistics of the company.
Our simple fundamental is to deliver the highest quality product, at a fair price. We do not try to push the most profitable products, just the products that give you the best return for your money.
